Product Introduction

The Samyang AF 14-24mm f/2.8 Lens (L-Mount) is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens designed for landscape photographers, travel creators, architectural photographers and videographers. Its 14-24mm focal range lets you capture expansive scenes while giving you flexibility to adjust your composition.

Developed in collaboration with Schneider-Kreuznach, this lens combines optical performance with a compact, lightweight design. The constant f/2.8 maximum aperture also helps when photographing night scenes, interiors and other situations with limited light.

Design and Build Quality

Weighing approximately 441g, the Samyang AF 14-24mm f/2.8 is easy to carry for travel and outdoor photography. Its compact design makes it a practical option for photographers who want an ultra-wide zoom without adding excessive weight to their camera bag.

Additionally, the lens supports standard 77mm front filters, making it easier to use compatible neutral-density and circular polarising filters. Weather sealing helps protect the lens when shooting in challenging outdoor conditions.

Optical Performance

The lens features an optical construction of 15 elements in 11 groups, including specialised aspherical, high-refractive and extra-low-dispersion elements. This design helps control optical aberrations and maintain detail across the image.

Furthermore, Samyang's Ultra Multi Coating helps reduce flare and ghosting. The constant f/2.8 aperture provides consistent exposure flexibility throughout the zoom range, while the nine-blade diaphragm helps produce attractive background blur.
