Design and Build Quality

Compact and Lightweight Design

The Viltrox AF 25mm f/1.7 Air Z lens features a compact design that makes it easy to carry. Its lightweight construction suits travel photography, street shooting and daily use.

Furthermore, the black finish gives the lens a clean, professional look. As a result, it fits naturally into a modern Nikon Z camera setup.

Designed for Everyday Photography

A compact prime lens can simplify your camera kit. Moreover, it lets you move comfortably between locations without carrying a large lens.

This makes the lens a useful option for beginners and experienced photographers who value portability.

Performance

Versatile 25mm Focal Length

The 25mm focal length offers a useful perspective for everyday photography. On a compatible APS-C Nikon Z camera, it provides an angle of view similar to a 37.5mm lens on a full-frame camera.

Therefore, you can capture street scenes, travel moments, environmental portraits and daily activities without an overly tight view.

Bright f/1.7 Maximum Aperture

The f/1.7 maximum aperture allows more light into the camera than many slower lenses. Consequently, it helps when shooting indoors or in dim evening conditions.

Additionally, the wide aperture lets you create a softer background and draw attention to your subject. However, the final result depends on your focus distance, subject placement and camera settings.

Autofocus for Easy Shooting

The autofocus system helps you focus on subjects quickly and conveniently. This is useful when capturing everyday moments or working with moving subjects.

Furthermore, autofocus support can make the lens suitable for compatible video recording. Actual performance depends on your camera body and firmware.
