Design and Build Quality

Compact and Lightweight Design

The Viltrox AF 25mm f/1.7 Air E lens features a portable design that suits everyday shooting. Its compact body makes it easy to pack for travel and outdoor photography.

Furthermore, the lightweight build helps reduce the overall weight of your camera setup. As a result, you can carry your camera comfortably during longer photo walks.

Made for Everyday Use

This lens suits beginners and experienced photographers who want a simple prime lens. In addition, its versatile focal length works well for different types of scenes without requiring a bulky setup.

Performance

Versatile 25mm Focal Length

The 25mm focal length provides a natural wide-to-standard perspective on compatible APS-C cameras. It is useful for street photography, travel, portraits and everyday subjects.

Moreover, it lets you include some of the surroundings in your photographs. This makes it easier to capture environmental portraits and storytelling images.

Bright f/1.7 Maximum Aperture

The f/1.7 aperture allows more light to reach the camera sensor. Therefore, you can capture images in dim indoor spaces and during evening shoots.

Additionally, the wide aperture helps create a shallow depth of field. You can use this effect to separate your subject from the background and add depth to your images.

Autofocus for Easy Shooting

The autofocus system helps you focus on subjects with less manual effort. As a result, the lens is suitable for everyday photography and compatible video recording.

However, actual autofocus performance depends on your camera body, firmware and shooting conditions.
